Russia Warns Obama: Monsanto

DNA Digital News Aggregation

The shocking minutes relating to President Putin’s meeting this past week with US Secretary of State John Kerry reveal the Russian leaders “extreme outrage” over the Obama regimes continued protection of global seed and plant bio-genetic giants Syngenta and Monsanto in the face of a growing “bee apocalypse” that the Kremlin warns “will most certainly” lead to world war.

According to these minutes, released in the Kremlin today by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (MNRE), Putin was so incensed over the Obama regimes refusal to discuss this grave matter that he refused for three hours to even meet with Kerry, who had traveled to Moscow on a scheduled diplomatic mission, but then relented so as to not cause an even greater rift between these two nations.

At the center of this dispute between Russia and the US, this MNRE report says, is the “undisputed evidence” that a class of neuro-active insecticides chemically related to nicotine, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planets bee population, and which if left unchecked could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

So grave has this situation become, the MNRE reports, the full European Commission (EC) this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban (set to begin on 1 December 2013) on these“bee killing” pesticides following the lead of Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine, all of whom had previously banned these most dangerous of genetically altered organisms from being used on the continent.

Why Disinformation Works

Have you ever wondered how the government’s misinformation gains traction?

What I have noticed is that whenever a stunning episode occurs, such as 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing, most everyone whether on the right or left goes along with the government’s explanation, because they can hook their agenda to the government’s account.

The left-wing likes the official stories of Muslims creating terrorist mayhem in America, because it proves their blow back theory and satisfies them that the dispossessed and oppressed can fight back against imperialism.

The patriotic right-wing likes the official story, because it proves America is attacked for its goodness or because terrorists were allowed in by immigration authorities and nurtured by welfare, or because the government, which can’t do anything right, ignored plentiful warnings.

Whatever the government says, no matter how problematical, the official story gets its traction from its compatibility with existing predispositions and agendas.

In such a country, truth has no relevance. Only agendas are important.

A person can see this everywhere. I could write volumes illustrating how agenda-driven writers across the spectrum will support the most improbable government stories despite the absence of any evidence simply because the government’s line can be used to support their agendas.

A Dark, Very Troubling Period in America's History

We are certainly living in the midst of a very dark period in American history. This is a nation that is not advancing, it is regressing; it is no longer growing, it is rapidly declining. This is a country that possesses monumental wealth but, at the same time, is plagued by a myriad of critical problems that seem to be insurmountable.

Where is the evidence that supports this premise? It's everywhere; just look at the deteriorating conditions in this country, the absence of a functioning government and the mounting extreme violence in this society. When America needs leadership and direction there is none to be found. There are no signs or indications that this government is ready to reassume the responsibilities of governing this country in a competent manner and doing what is in the best interests of the American people.

Republicans block, obstruct and filibuster. Democrats vacillate, cave in and refuse to change the filibuster rules. We have a president who won't prosecute the Wall Street criminals but goes after whistleblowers instead; a president who has done more to restrict the constitutional rights and freedoms of the American people than any other in our history. Don't believe it; then do some research and find out for yourself.

How Elites and Media Minimize Dissent and Bury Truth

Looking at Hymns Sociologically
 from a Marxist   Viewpointhubpages.com

Over the last several years I have watched the rise of an important new intellect on the American scene. Ron Unz, publisher of The American Conservative, has demonstrated time and again the extraordinary ability to reexamine settled issues and show that the accepted conclusion was incorrect.

One of his early achievements was to dispose of the myth of immigrant crime by demonstrating that “Hispanics have approximately the same crime rates as whites of the same age and gender.” You can imagine the uproar, but Unz won the debate.

Unz provoked and prevailed in another controversy when he concluded that Mexican-Americans have approximately the same innate intelligence as whites, with their lower IQs being due to transitory socio-economic deprivation.

He next surprised by showing the connection between the declining real value of the minimum wage (about one-third less than in the 1960s) and immigration. Americans cannot survive on one-third less minimum income than four decades ago, and the unfilled jobs are taken by Hispanics who live many to the room. A higher minimum wage, Unz pointed out, would cure the illegal immigration problem as American citizens would fill the jobs.

DRONE STRIKES FUELING ANTI-U.S HATRED AS FEAR SPREADS IN MIDDLE EAST

U.S. drone strikes are creating cadres of anti-American fighters, furious over the killing and wounding of thousands of civilians.

Far from the drone attacks being “on a very tight leash,” as President Obama claimed, they have generated widespread terror across Muslim populations in the attack regions as they disrupt civilian lives and activities, literally driving people mad, reliable authorities state.

According to an article in the UK Guardian, the Pakistani ambassador to the UN Zamir Akram charged that more than 1,000 Pakistani civilians have been killed by U.S. drone strikes. The use of drones, he said, “leads to greater levels of terror rather than reducing them.” Other estimates put the Pakistan death toll from drone attacks as much higher---between 2,000 and 3,500 killed.

Author Gregory Johnsen told McClatchy News Service the drones attacks in Yemen are “exacerbating and expanding” resistance. “We have seen AQAP (al-Qaida on the Arabian Peninsula) expanding from 200-300 fighters in 2009, when the U.S. bombing campaign began, to more than 1,000 fighters today.” Johnsen is author of The Last Refuge, a new book on Yemen and al-Qaida.

And retired Marine General James Cartwright told The Nation magazine the drones cause anger, bitterness, and resentment among Muslim populations and predicted their use will cause “blowback” attacks against America.

Using National Tragedies to Propel Anti-Constitutional Agendas

It is a simple thing really.  We Americans watch the news to acquire some understanding of minimal what the hot topics are on everything from local to national happenings and accept the stories as truth.  Most of this news is comprised of to-the-point, quick snippets to fill our informational desires in a short period of time but when these snippets glaze over the details of those issues that affect our lives to a greater extent, it is time to hold media accountable for their delivery of disinformation and our politicians for the false agendas they propel.

Take as an example, the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings and Boston Marathon Bombings. There were indeed tragic events which continue to call into question whether we here in America are safe to send our children to school or even whether we can attend a public event without worrying we will be slaughtered like sheep.  Some measure of safety indeed needs to be instituted to make us safer but when our politicians use these happenings to propel their own, distorted agenda; it is time to examine what is truly going on.

To many of us, the Sandy Hook killings now represent a sad event where innocent children were terrorized and yes, slaughtered by a mentally disturbed individual.  Many were shocked and sickened by this event and politicians wasted not a second in vowing to bring an end to the violence by addressing gun control.  Sounds like a great idea when viewed in a ten second news blurb but when taken to the next level of consideration, politicians put more into their efforts than the news ever reported.

After the bodies were counted and facts collected, many began calling for stricter gun laws.  President Obama was very verbal in this argument and has vowed to make America safer.  He has used this event to push to the forefront an agenda to control our Right to Bear Arms and has employed the media to spread the word of his valiant efforts.  When the Gun Control Bill was voted down in Congress, many shouted "Shame!".  The news stations have portrayed Mr. Obama’s efforts as honorable but upon further examination; they have proven to be far from that.  In fact, our President had already been in talks with the United Nations for the past few years to limit our Right to Bear Arms and has seen this as the perfect opportunity to propel his agenda to limit our rights to defend ourselves as the 2nd Amendment was designed to guarantee.
