Within the past few years social media has brought people into several different protests worldwide, from the Iran to the London riots to the recent BART protests. It is no surprise that YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and and several other social networking sites have played big roles in protest issues worldwide, but are we seeing a relation between social disparities and the use of social media?
